New Daylight Handling For BMI, Runnymeade
The X-ray Department at the BMI Runnymede Hospital, Chertsey, Surrey, has recently installed the latest in daylight film handling equipment from Kodak. A Kodak X-Omat Multiloader 7000 is now sited in the recently refurbished processing room of the imaging department at the hospital and is set to handle around 6,000 examinations annually.
"We have been using Kodak Min-R 2000 mammography film since last year and have been very pleased with the results," commented Imaging and Physiotherapy Services Manager, Sue Vallender. "This latest equipment from Kodak has been very reliable, easy to use and we are very pleased with the resultant image quality of all films. We have a very good working relationship with Kodak."
The Multiloader 7000 is designed for high-capacity throughput offering improved workflow and increased productivity. It holds up to seven magazines with 115 film sheets each, accommodates 13 film sizes and occupies an extremely small footprint to open up more space for patients or other equipment.
Kodak, X-Omat and Min-R are trade marks
