Kodak Adds Value To Summer D&P

Kodak is continuing its series of national promotions for 2002 in support of Kodak Pictures film processing with a new added-value offer designed to drive summer D&P sales. Set to hit the high street from mid-June, this latest offer is number five in a series of eleven business building promotions designed to provide retailers with additional profit opportunities across the whole year.

From 17th June - 25th July 2002, consumers will be encouraged to share their photos with family and friends by taking advantage of £1 off Kodak Pictures extra sets (35mm, APS and Picture CD) when ordered at the time of processing. The offer not only represents a valuable saving to the consumer on the cost of ordering an extra set retrospectively, but also offers dealers the benefit of increasing average order values.

"We are at the half-way point of the Kodak Pictures promotional calendar for 2002 and sales figures for year-to-date clearly show that we are successfully encouraging both consumers and dealers to switch to the benefits of Kodak Pictures," said Helen Plumb, Brand Manager for D&P, Kodak's Consumer Imaging Division. "Kodak Pictures dealers can be confident of an impressive range of support from Kodak during 2002 including a multi-million TV advertising spend at key D&P periods of the year and brand new in-store POS material to create awareness and drive volume sales."

The free POS kit for participating dealers consists of an A Board poster, A3 window poster, A4 counter card and new-style wobbler. This pack has been totally redesigned for 2002, providing additional emphasis to the Kodak Pictures branding to maximise awareness from the TV advertising. Items continue to feature the familiar red and white sales language plus the introduction of an explanatory pack shot on a premium blue background for added impact.
