Kodak Radiology System Provides Link Between HIS and PACS
The Kodak stand at UKRC will show the latest developments for an integrated PACS and RIS platform - the Kodak Radiology Information System 2010. This complete modular system enhances PACS productivity by providing the link between the Hospital Information System (HIS) and the PACS.
A workflow solution for modern diagnostic imaging, the system manages all necessary procedures, offering a familiar, user friendly graphic interface with an added emphasis on flexibility, safety and quality. Key benefits of the system make for easier:
- Image distribution
- Reporting
- Control with the external Web module
- Information management
- Integration with other information systems
The RIS 2010 runs on the normal hospital network and depending on the size of the installation, consists of a number of clients/workstations located around the healthcare environment. The system itself is centred on the RIS 2010 server and several
gateways and other peripheral servers (e.g. the dictate server, the scan server, the DICOM gateway, the Web gateway, the HIS gateway etc.)
Kodak is a trade mark
