Kodak Shows DryView Laser Imager As Ideal Partner For CR 800
Kodak offers a wide variety of printing solutions including direct-to-modality, networked and web-based printing choices that serve the needs of hospitals and imaging facilities across the UK. Of particular interest at UKRC will be the Kodak DryView 8200 Laser Imager.
The DryView 8200 Laser Imager offers two online film sizes and is ideal for general radiology and mid-volume computed radiography (CR). The DryView 8200 Laser Imager can be integrated with the Kodak DirectView CR 800 computed radiology system to offer automatic routing of CR images to the correct film drawer without operator involvement for maximum workflow, quality and productivity.
The 8200 holds two easy-to-load 125-sheet instant daylight-load cartridges of 35 cm x 43 cm (14 x 17-inch), 35 cm x 35 cm (14 x 14-inch), or 11 x 14-inch films in any combination and offers an image resolution of 325 dots per inch (dpi).
Kodak DryView systems are true laser imagers that feature superior grayscale and superb, continuous tone. When used in conjunction with Kodak laser imaging film, the resulting archival images are guaranteed for more than 100 years. Kodak also provides a gateway to PACS with PACS Link configurations of its DryView imagers, which convert modality images to DICOM and receive DICOM image data over a network for fast, flexible film output wherever it is needed.
The Kodak DryView family of laser imagers is the best selling in the industry with more than 15,000 installed worldwide.
