A graduate of Liverpool University, Annie started her sales and marketing career at McVities where she worked her way up from sales representative to account manager for J.Sainsbury. A move to Jacobs, part of Danone, saw her again in sales, latterly in the role of Marketing Manager for Snacks and Crackers. Then a 5-year spell working on Strategic Business Planning for Tesco provided further valuable experience before embarking on one of the biggest challenges of her life.
Taking 6 months out in 2000, Annie competed in the legendary Trans-Atlantic Tall Ships Race which she describes as quite easily one of the best things she has ever done. Having never sailed before, she can now proudly boast the ability to swing from the yard-arm and expertly fold a spinnaker - skills not often found on a CV!
On returning to dry land, consultancy worked beckoned for a year followed by a brief spell at Premier Foods before joining Kodak in April.
"I am delighted to welcome Annie to the team and am confident that her experience and leadership qualities will prove a great asset to Kodak," said David Algar, General Manager, Consumer Imaging for the UK and Ireland. "The Consumer Imaging team has achieved outstanding work the UK and Ireland over recent years and as a result our performance within the category has been impressive. I look forward to working with Annie to continue this momentum".
