High Flying Poster Campaign At Major UK Airports

Kodak has teamed up with the British Airports Authority (BAA) and Disney World Resorts to stage a major poster campaign and promotion to drive sales in BAA outlets at Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Southampton and Glasgow.

Around 50 million passengers pass through these outlets annually and from July 10th until the end of September 2002 giant posters headlined “Picture the Fun” will invite them to visit BAA shops for the chance to win Disney holidays, Kodak Advantix cameras and thousands of processing vouchers and single-use cameras.

By spending £10 or more on any product, passengers receive entry into a Kodak prize draw and instant win promotion. To further raise awareness, millions of information leaflets will be distributed by hand to passengers at all participating airports.

“The average wait at airports is about three hours which is an ideal scenario for travellers to browse BAA shops and spend money,” said Ian Kirsch, European Partners Marketing Manager, Kodak’s Consumer Imaging Division. “The offer by BAA to join forces with Disney in such a major campaign was an excellent opportunity for us.”

Kodak and Advantix are trade marks
