Eastman Kodak Company has named Paul Rasmussen as Regional Business Manager Kodak Professional, Europe, Africa and the Middle East Region and Vice President, reporting to Karen Smith-Pilkington, General Manager, Kodak Professional, and Senior Vice President of the company.

Prior to this, Rasmussen was President and Chief Executive Officer of Event Imaging Solutions, Inc., in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., a multi-million dollar company providing photographic services to shopping centres, major theme parks and family destinations across the U.S. He replaces Claudio D'Amico, who was named to lead Kodak's Consumer Imaging Business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East Region in December 2002.

Paul Rasmussen (42) is a highly regarded leader within the imaging industry. He has held a number of key leadership positions in the U.S. and Latin American Region and brings a depth of experience in the imaging industry to his new position. He wants to drive key initiatives to support Kodak Professionals business in Europe. In fact, he sees a great potential for growth in the European market for portrait & social photography. Paul wants to continue to focus on progress already made in this market and build a stronger lab business.

Paul is bilingual (English and Spanish) with twenty years experience in general management, manufacturing, logistics, international business development, and marketing. He was also President and CEO at Twinstant, Inc., a company focused on providing holiday event photography in enclosed malls across the U.S. and Canada.

Prior to that he worked as a Director of World Wide Marketing for the Kodak Professional Division of Eastman Kodak Company and as World Wide Strategic Manager in the School Photography Segment. Between 1994 and 1996 he held several management positions in the Latin American Regional Operation. He joined Eastman Kodak Company in 1982 as an Engineer & Production Supervisor in the Kodak Equipment Manufacturing Division (KEMD).

Rasmussen graduated from the William E. Simon School of Business Administration of the University of Rochester, NY: MBA, Concentrations in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Economics. He is an Electrical Engineer (Rochester Institute of Technology) and a Chemical Engineer (Bucknell University).
