Powerful Support For Kodak Pictures During 2003

Kodak is continuing its heavyweight support of the Kodak Pictures brand during 2003 with plans to inject up to £7 million promotional spend to build awareness of the processing service and to support the 2003 wave of national promotions designed to help retailers create consumer interest throughout the year.

TV ads will run over key D&P periods of the year – Easter, Bank Holidays and Summer to drive footfall and fuel sales on the high street. During 2002 Kodak advertising proved highly successful in driving consumers in-store asking for the Kodak brand and as a result retailers should anticipate high demand for Kodak Pictures services during 2003.

Bigger Pictures At No Extra Cost
Kicking off the year in style is the great value offer of ‘Bigger Pictures At No Extra Cost’. Until 6th March 2003, consumers taking their 35 mm films for processing with Kodak Pictures will receive 5” x 7” (13 cm x 18 cm) prints for the price of 4” x 6” (10 cm x 15 cm).

“Our 2002 calendar of national promotions proved tremendously successful in increasing footfall for Kodak Pictures dealers and we anticipate even greater response this year,” said Helen Plumb, Brand Manager for D&P, Kodak’s Consumer Imaging Division. “We have run the ‘Bigger Pictures At No Extra Cost’ promotion several times over the past couple of years with great success. As a result we have seen order values increase with a permanent rise in the percentage of Kodak Pictures customers ordering 5” x 7” (13cm x 18cm) as standard.”

Free POS Kit
To help create impact in-store, retailers can take advantage of a free POS kit consisting of a range of quality eye-catching POS items including A Board poster, A3 window poster, A4 counter card, and till wobbler.
