Retailers will have an extra incentive to capture new business this spring when the second great value offer of the year from Kodak Pictures kicks in as part of a year long promotional calendar. Until 17th April, Kodak is giving consumers the opportunity to try Kodak Picture CD for only £2 – a tremendous saving of £3 over the normal RRP.
During 2003 Kodak is supporting the Kodak Pictures brand and wave of national promotions by injecting up to £7 million promotional spend on TV over key D&P periods. As part of this high profile activity and for the first time in the UK, Kodak Picture CD will exclusively feature in its own TV campaign with ads running from between 21st June and 25th August.
With Kodak Picture CD consumers can get into digital photography without changing the way they take pictures. They receive their prints back in the traditional way plus a set of digital photos on CD to experiment with and discover how easy it is to share photos by e-mail, improve them and print them out at home.
“ This latest promotion is designed to encourage consumers to try Kodak Picture CD and experience the benefits for themselves,” said Charles Cann, Group Brand Manager for D&P and Digital Services, Kodak’s Consumer Imaging Division. “We successfully ran the promotion several times during 2002, permanently increasing the percentage of customers ordering Picture CD with their prints. For retailers this increased order value results in additional profit opportunities.”
To help create impact in-store, retailers can take advantage of a free POS kit consisting of a range of quality eye-catching POS items including A Board poster, A3 window poster, A4 counter card, and till wobbler.
