Kodak has introduced Kodak Min-R Screen Cleaner Wipes for mammography screens designed to ensure optimum cleanliness and minimise screen-generated artefacts.

This new convenient all in one wipe and cleaner is contained in a re-sealable air tight flip-top cylinder containing 50 15 cm x 24 cm lint-free pre-moistened wipes separated by perforation for easy tearing when pulled. The product is water-based and contains a fluorinated surfactant to lessen the charging of the screen during contact with the film, and thus the propensity for the screen to attract and hold dirt. Each wipe is sufficient to clean one 18 cm x 24 cm or 24 cm x 30 cm single screen cassette.

New Min-R Screen Cleaner Wipes are available now and can be ordered through Kodak’s Value Added Service Provider network.
