Kodak has refreshed the graphic treatment on its Kodak Pictures DVD-type storage boxes for 35mm, APS and Picture CD to bring the design bang up-to-date. The new design maintains the benefits of the previous premium black colour whilst introducing modern and stylish images to reflect the emotion invested by consumers in film processing. Kodak has also taken the opportunity to improve the construction of both the APS and 35mm boxes combining easier opening with a more stylish look.

The protective storage box is an integral part of the Kodak Pictures processing service, which offers quality prints on premium Kodak Royal Paper accompanied by an index print for easy reordering. It is both neat and convenient and when questioned is cited by consumers as one of the main and most appealing benefits of the Kodak Pictures service.

“ The new box design scored very well in consumer research reaching much higher totals than normal for packaging and now that it is out on the high street, consumer response is equally as positive,” said Helen Plumb, Brand Manager for D&P, Kodak’s Consumer Imaging Division. “The new graphics have been featured as part of our new £7 million TV campaign planned for key D&P periods of the year. The ads proved very successful after first airing over the Easter period in driving increased business into Kodak Pictures outlets and further bursts are planned for the summer and Bank Holiday periods.”
