| Camera in sleep mode | Press control button to awaken camera | |
| LCD panel flashes "E" | No film in camera | Load new film into the camera |
| Shutter button locks and flash/camera-ready-lamp indicator "blinks" | Subject too close to camera | Move beyond 2 ft (0.6 m) from your subject |
| Film door does not open | Film loaded into camera | Finish taking pictures or press the film-rewind button |
| Missing battery | Load battery into the camera |
