Protecting Your Pictures

You can safeguard your pictures from being deleted accidentally from the camera memory card by using the Protect feature. This feature is very useful if the camera and camera memory card are used by more than one person.

1. Set the Mode dial to Review.
2. Slide the POWER switch to the right to turn on the camera.

   The last picture taken appears on the LCD screen.

3. Press the MENU button.

   

   The main Review Menu screen appears.

4. Press a button until the icon is highlighted.

   The Protect screen appears.

5. Press a button until the picture you want to protect is selected.
6. Press the DO-IT button.

   

   The picture appears on the LCD with the Protect icon.

7. To cancel a protected picture, select the picture to be unprotected and press the DO-IT button.
